We (a manufacturer of three wheel vehicles in Pompano Beach, Florida) bought a 48” Port-A-Cool for use at work. It just happened to arrive on the same day as twelve 18 wheelers pulled up to unload at our facility. The first thing we did was unpack the Port-A-Cool and start it up before the unloading process began. It was a hot day and there was no way we could have finished the job without the quick cool downs the employees were able to do during the process. We now use it daily and it keeps our facility 7-9 degrees cooler.
We especially like the portability and low noise level of the unit. We are able to talk on our cell phones while standing in front of the unit keeping cool.

We waterproof and perma press military camouflage uniforms for the military. There is approximately 250 square meter of open space filled with steam presses operating at 176˚ C. With high temperatures of south Mississippi on top of the extreme heat of our presses, the huge A/C’s piping cool air directly to each of the steam press positions could not keep the temperature from rising to unsafe levels. We bought a couple of 36” Port-A-Cool@ evaporative fans and found that they did a super job of supplementing our A/C’s and greatly enhanced the comfort and safety of our employees. We now own six 36” and two JetStream 1600 units and are very satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend them for use anywhere since they work in this extreme situation.
